It all depends on what size mains you are running. If you are running 600mm blades, the 95mm tails are fine. If you are running 620s, then stick with the 92mm.

Hi, I have 95mm on my Titan. I bought the Mavrik blades from Heliproz and they are much better than the ones that come in the kit. I am also running the Radix Main Blades at 600mm. BR, Mark |

lots of different schools of thought here.... I run 95's with the 600 set up. Logic would say to run 95's with the 620s to counter act the torque of the larger disc. there isnt that much difference between 92's and 95's 3mm is about the width of 3 dimes stacked. I dont think the 95's could hit the 620's if flexed hard enough, but I could be wrong since I dont run 620. I know I have a whole bunch of room between the 600's and the 95's. Tail holds rock solid. I have used every blade from stock to Radix. So far I like the RADIX, NHP, the new TT carbons arent bad either, century/funkey, and even the new align white carbons did alright. All work pretty well.. you'll pay about the same for all. Find what works, and stick with it. I fly radix, I love radix, and they work for me. |

I second the radix being a great choice. They do seem to bit more fragile than the v-blades that I'm used to.

If you'd like a great set of tail blades that you'll never break, go buy a set of stock Freya blades. They work great, are 92mm, and are indestructible. Seriously, they will outlive any heli you put them on, and have great performance.

None of them are best. Tail blades aren't like main blades where there is a marked difference between brands. I've used a bunch, they all fly about the same, they are either good or they are not. The Radix, NHP, and the Align carbon tails all fly about the same, and work well. The Align and Radix were both pretty fragile, and it only took a tap to break both of them. The NHP were more solid, and lasted through a few incidents. The Freya blades fly the same as the carbons, IMHO (they are a popular blade upgrade for a lot of Evo fliers) and are damn near indestructible. Not nearly as cool looking, but damn good blades, and inexpensive at $4 - $5.
