I was thinking the exact same thing, This guy is amazing, the heli is spinning faster then the rotor blades. Those are some FAST fingers.

Whoa, I just saw the newer one. Hey got better no doubt. I got a little Hirobo micro heli to fly in my basement and it took me a week to just do normal hovering. Can't even imagine doing half of that stuff. Yes I have a great appreciation for heli pilots.

I think helis is something I can get Ok at - I was hovering my CP, nose-in, by the 4th, maybe 5th pack. But I almost think it would be worthless - I will never be as good as these young whippersnappers!!

is the engine running at full throttle the whole time?

That is absolutely unbelievable, those roters must be inches from the ground, I cant imagine how he does that. Amazing!

Not full throttle, but constant, and high head speed. The pro's mix throttle to every input, since all inputs draw a little bit off the main rotor. I am sure that when he does full collective maneuvers the engine is near full power, but not when he is hovering.

I've been playing with Helis for about 2 years now. I just got comfortable to hover below my knees inverted.... I still shake when Im done doing that. Been learning piroflips, and other 3D stuff, but this thing is 100x harder than 3D'n an airplane. With an airplane the airplane is always moving forward, with a heli, it really screws up us airplane guys when we start going backward. DOH !!! wrong input .... thats a hundred bucks !!
