Okay, I've detailed the inside of the TSU and added some optics. I didn't really have any good reference so I had to wing it. I used a lot of bits and pieces from a spares box and just kit bashed what I had to make something passable. I'm not going to do any of the outside detailing until the helicopter is closer to being finished for fear of damaging it along the way.

Another update, two things in fact.

The first is that the canopy is now assembled and after a little sanding and finessing will be good to go. (Thats my dog Trip in the background)

The second (a little bit cooler) is that the man himself, Unbalanced, has put together a technological marvel in the form of flashing rocket pods! Check out the attached video.....

Not illegal on private property, well model rockets on RC aircraft...but PYRODEX FIREARM POWER...Yikes.

Fun stuff, but those nuts holding those plasic tubes with it packed in there ( I don;t care if they used prior knowledge of muzzleloading and pig-science'ed how much to use) is nuts.

Cripes, use bench vise for the tests...not your hands.. Are these guys Rednecks???

Look at Vario's rocket launchers, they use ready made ammo.....done, safe, tested, but not cheap. They are real guns.

Nice flashers.....need a bucket brigade chip and a little amp and speaker.

Pyrodex you can buy at walmart... no licence required.

Since nothing shot out of it... i don't think it is illegal. (just wadding)

That is awesome.... doo it jeff... doo it.

Suddenly, I feel the urge to build something that shoots rockets. I don't think Extra's had rocket pods, and that's all i have right now.
