The guys at RC wingers in Mooresville NC put on a great fly-in this weekend
(its not over yet, the fun continues tomorrow!). I met a lot of interesting people and got to see some awesome heli huckin. I learned all about a new move called "Crackin' it" which when I first saw it I thought something had come loose on the chopper and it was about to explode - awesome!
There was a bunch of raflle prizes donated including a DX-7 radio from the local Hobbytown USA, a bunch of goodies from the roving hobby shop B&B Hobbies out of Florida, and some gift certificates from KC hobbies of Archdale (one of which I happened to nab!).
The only crash of the day was from Jongurley

who ran out of sky at the bottom of a high speed tail slide, but man could he rock that rappy! His buddy Jeremy (?) was "breaking in" his new TRex 600 with some of the afforementioned "crack" manouvering, some of the wildest flying I have had the opportunity to witness first hand! I got to meet Gerald Neel who dropped by to see what was going on and also Bill Hamby who is the IMAA district IV officer - both of them friendly and enthusiastic guys.
