I have my antenna in the tube like yours, but at the end of the antenna, there is a tywrap around the boom support with a small length of it hanging down, that has two holes in it that you feed the antenna through. Hope I made sense, it's kind of hard to explain.

Just loop a rubber band around the boom support and tie a small knot in the antenna to the rubber band. You can also use a small servo arm.

I do like JeeUm, but try to keep some slack on the antenna. I've had one break right behind the rear skid strut for having it pulled too tight. "Whats that's hanging off my heli?...NOOOO, can't be!"..yep, it was the antenna

Yeah,it's little on the tight side right now. It's easy enough to just move the rubberband a bit.

Just take and run your antenna through a inner nyrod part (yellow part). than zip tie your nyrod inner to your boom support. Very clean, and no hangy down parts.... OR use a deans antennae inside the nose.

What Toro said-I'm a slow typer.

I'm big on the deans or revolution whip. You can run it in the canopy without range issues as fiberglass and plastic is invisible to rf. I know cutting rx antenna's is not a comfortable feeling so I found the best way to attach the antenna to the boom support is to run the wire through a small (1.5cm) piece of fuel tubing and then use a small zip tie. It will stay put very nicely and keeps the antenna off the the support.

Try to cut the antenna on my $150 rx and we'll have problems.

I've used Azarr Lite antennas for years now but don't want to spend another $12 on something that I really don't need. I'll either do the zip tie trick or the rubber band. Okay now back to the topic, set ups.

Ok guys, this may spark a debate, but which is the best small heli to get. I'm not talking micro like PICO sized, but something along the lines of a shogun. Are there other models available in that size that fly better without breaking the pocketbook? Looking for opinions and experience here.

Thanks,

Neo Out!!!!
