Default Stobe lights-where to get

I've seen a few helis with strobe lights on them... just a flashing white light. Anyone know where to get those?

Dave

My friend Steve has one on his Augusta, turns out it is actually a flash from an old disposable camera. Unfortunately I am not sure how he got his to work, so someone with more experience might chime in. Definitely looked very cool in the air though. (I don't really know of any strobes sold commercially for helis or airplanes, but I do know that there are a few full lighting kits that can be set to work as strobes)

Looking to stick one on the turtledeck of a 42% Extra 260. Think it's bright enough to be seen at 500 feet?

Thanks!

Do some through ground testing with the strobes. There was a set (I'm not sure of the brand) installed on a large Taylor craft and it took a lot of moving stuff around over several weeks to get to where all of the servos did not twitch with each flash.
