Yeah, it's a dry heat, but the Egyptian mummies are stored in dry heat and to me, they don't look so good. A few years ago, my wife and I were thinking of retiring to Scottsdale. I get the urge to drop out every few years. A realtor was taking us on tour of available properties. About two hours into it my wife passed out from heat stroke. The realtor looked at me and said, "It doesn't look like you'll be moving out here does it". I agreed, and we flew back home that afternoon. Funny thing is that she grew up in Phoenix. She says she left as soon as she graduated High School and is not going back. It was a dry heat, but so is an oven.

Tony, Welcome to AZ. It is a great state to live in, just take vacation in August like the rest of us and you will be fine. I actually suggest you find a covered storage place for your trailer. They cook in the summer and you can't leave anything in them unless they are covered. You should be able to find an RV storage place out that way , most of them have covered storage availible. Storage is actually the reason I don't have a trailer anymore. The developers bought most of the land the storage places were so it costs a fortune up here.

Good Luck, Hope to see you out at the AZ Model Aviatiors field (Mesa) some day.
Tom

LOL! Tucson is nowhere near as hot as Phoenix - retire down this way!

My wife says she will never live East of the I-5 again. To her the world is a strip about two miles wide starting at the Pacific Ocean. There is a tree out here called a Torrey Pine. It only grows in that same narrow strip East and West, and only about a 20 miles North and South. She says she will live anywhere they grow naturally. Of course, this is also some of the most expensive real estate in the country. Still cheaper than yet another x-wife though.

I'm with your wife on that one Steve, only my cut off is east of the 405! Going east of the 5 is such a PITA, having to get out the passport, exchanging currency etc.
