Looks like an end box maneuver, push to vertical, tail slide to wheels down, it's a direction change. You will end up in the upright position heading in the opposite direction.

brandon just remember you can fly the plane backwards, in other words when it starts to slide you will want to hold up elevator to make it flop gear down...little more to it than that, but youl get the idea

If you complete the figure at a 45 degree angle to the judges, then push up to the tailslide the plane will be off of the x,y,z axis.

Do you just do a 45 degree turn back on to the x axis to complete the figure?

John,
He doesn't need to much help here!! LoL. Congrats to both of you getting the invite. I really do know how hard you have worked to get the invite. Great job and I look forward to meeting you at Toledo. When your working your butts off to get the pattern down just remember it is all about having a great time. Of course if you are seeing improvement each flight that makes it a lot more enjoyable! I bet Brandon is running around like a headless rooster right now. I promise you this.
Like every other pattern what ever you said to yourself would be easy WILL be the hardest part of the pattern. Biff has some hidden VERY difficult elements in there that are meant to shread Depron. Got to keep the crowd into you know!!
Good luck Jason.

Looks like you do another 5/8 loop after the 4 of 8 and then 1/4 roll to inverted in the near straight line. To complete the maneuver you will be heading the same direction on exit as you were on entry.

Then you would have completed the reverse cuban eight not half.

You are absolutely correct, I mis-read that to be a reverse cuban 8, sorry Tony...
