its simple really,
Your old bind had the throttle reversed, it will always go to where it was bound. the throttle channel is the only one that does that besides the gear will initialize in its bound state.

you probably had the transmitter too close to the model. set it behind you a few feet away.

You probably did not have a power issue on this one, its likely a swamping issue. I have several posts on the issue. I have seen holds cause this. It is possible you didnt even link it fully. You need to get into the habit of checking for full system connect before firing up.

tx on, wait 10 sec. Rx on. wait......let it link. check the receiver if you can for a solid light. check the controls and go.

When you bind it the next time, just do it by the book, and make sure the throttle is in idle setting you want.

When you are all done binding, power up everything and go full throttle. turn off transmitter and it will go to idle. If it does not, then you didnt have a successful bind.

Binding is so simple. just put the plug in, power the rx, it blinks
hold the bind button and power the transmitter and hold until lights go steady on ALL receivers. Pull the plug and power down. you are done. dont do all that other stuff its a waste. If it wont bind like that, something is wrong.

When you bind, move away from the model about 10 feet or so to do it so to get a clean signal.

goose f22...

i was having a problem getting all of my remotes to stay bound at the nall and a gentleman helped me from horizon. he actually had me power on the rx (bind plug in) then remove plug as rx's flashed and THEN power on the tx and hold til steady lights... he called it smart binding. make any sense to you? i use the 9303 and this particular rx was a spektrum 9000 with 2 remotes..... it worked great and has held each time like that since... just wondering about your input....

that is smart failsafe programming. that allows you to pre program the other controls other than the throttle to low. Yes that works too. Its described in the manual.

sometimes that works when nothing else will. I havent experienced that first hand before but have heard of it. Usually if one antenna wont bind, its a software compatiability according to my experiences and the ones at the lab.

thats the way to program it if: lets say you want your gear to come down if it goes into failsafe, and maybe a little rudder to make it circle or something like that.

Im going to do my jet that way this week after I finish reprogramming it.

Any news of any such on the horizon? I have been waiting for this technology to appear commercially and to mature enough so that it's useful for my turbine jet projects!

The Multiplex 4000 is also my favorite radio but also probably the best radio of all time and you can look here for a 2.4 module
