5 flights on my fliton inspire 60 electric and flights on my QQ 102 that has only one battery 4800 fromeco. AWSOME!!!! no glitches, no pins, 2 days ago I almost got shot down on my 72 mghz but I luckily caught a kid while I was taxing out that had turned on his radio channel 50, same as me. Well I don't have to worry about that anymore. XPS has worked for me as well as spectrum all the way up to my 40% plane.

I have been flying DX 7 for several months now with all 5 gas planes ranging from 30 to 41% and have not experienced a single glitch or lockout. Years ago with FM we all were getting small hits with our setups, then we switched to PCM and there were very few hits and it really worked well. The people who don't trust 2.4 will love it when they eventually try it. I am very fortunate to get in this hobby late in life.

You're not kidding, I got into the hobby 35 years ago and the radio gear just sucked to deal with!

Well, I just got back from the field from trying the XPS system and I think madmax put it best after his test flight with the DX7...WOW!

Granted it was just a glow plane, but I felt like I had complete control of the plane at any attitude in any manuver. The real test on my gasser will hopefully take place in a week, but I'm sold on this system so far. It was easy to set up and worked flawlessly today.

Good to hear! Glad to hear I'm not the only one having success with the unit. I have a JR 9303 as well.

Flew my 30% SD Yak on the XPS today. Got three flights in this afternoon with not a single glitch. The plane flew GREAT!!! My yak was so locked in, I LOVE IT.

Wink Re: Share Your 2.4 Success Stories!

I was putting on a demonstration here at the full scale Modesto air show in Calif. with my QQ-102 and the XPS system. About 3 minutes into the flight I go into a hard flatspin and start to loose control of rudder I instantly get mad thinking I've lost 2 35% planes to PCM and almost 1 to ppm now here we go with 2.4 but a second later I realize it is a rudder cable failure from the hard flatspin. As soon as I realize it is just a loose rudder wagging my plane back and forth violently at higher speed I get a BIG grin and realize this XPS is still rock solid and I'll be able to land ok. well my plane is still in one piece and just have to replace the 90lb fishing line by 7strand that I busted UNREAL! The cable busted at the crimping point where I've always feared they would. Oh well, at least I can rely on my XPS

The fireline would probably be better. I'm not sure if they coat those with something to help prevent damage from abrasion.
