Was he using an EQ10.......and if so did he reverse the throttle from there? I found that the Spektrum failsafe will look to see where the EQ10 throttle position is and not care where the radio is. Took me about 45mins of ground testing to figure that out. I could reverset the throttle on the radio back and forth with no failsafe effect after rebinds. Switched the EQ10 and BAM....worked just fine. |

Just got a DX7 and I am using the 6100 RX in an UZI XXL. This thing rocks. I was flying in a very noisy area today that I used to get hits all the time with my 9C. Not one hit today and the range was awesome. The DX7 is also alot easier for my 12yo to hold. I found the programing to be quite easy as well. So far I give it a 10 out of 10. |

When you say the most locked in experience, how do you compare with the before 2.4 I have not got in to the 2.4, and I find my 72 Multiplex 4000 has always been tight and never a glitch. So with all the good points about the 2.4's, does that mean that our 72's are no longer good?? ![]() Roger

they have not improved--- I sold everything I had that even smelled like 72/53 after flying my DX6 abd 7 setups - got all kinds of "you will be sorry and you better wait and what if it 's not perfect -on and on . bottom line . could not be happier with the systems. |

Thanks Dick, but that wasn't the question, from the flying standpoint, how do you really tell the difference, as far as "locked in". I still fly 72 and never had a problem so I"m just wondering aside from the no waiting point, how do you actually see the difference. Roger

So far 70 + flights, and I have been to two big bird events using 2.4. It was great never having to get a freq. pin or worrying about those soles that left there transmitters on when they returned there stuff back into the impound. Bob |

Hmmmmm no one seems to be able to answer the question. What is the exact difference do you see when flying , nothing else, frequency is not an issue for me. Everyone is saying they have been flying with no issues, well I don't have issues either with 72, soooooo what the hell is the difference in the actual flying....... Roger

For me it gives me peace of mind that I can't be shot down. But the plane feels basically the same in the air. My 10X module system is slower then my 12Z but not enough for me to tell. Three weeks ago I had my first shoot down experience. I went up to take off and the pilot next to me was flying his small scale model in the next pad over from my pad. When I was starting my engine I notice him complaining about getting gliched. He was able to land but had some damage. He was walking on the runway complaining and then I noticed he had a channel 38 tag on his radio. I asked him to take a look at my 38 pin I had from the impound. I am glad he was up first. I have both my 40% Comp 260 and my 35% AW 260 on spektrum and I don't plan on changing. |

--none-- just piece of mind,no really i feel like mine is better because the response seems a little quicker than my 72 9cap.i had to add about 10% more expo to my elevator to make it flair like it did before and my spins are out of time for stopping them.everything else is just the same.this is on xps in a futaba 9c

I absolutlely love my 2.4. I don't have to worry about other peoples frequencies and channels, I can fly without having to worry about getting locked out. Crap, this means I don't have an excuse for crashing.

Very interesting, but here is what I have heard from a few people that started to use these and they have locked out and destroyed there airplanes and have gone back to 72... In other words the technology has its good points but there is no such things as bullet proof... Roger
