Help! Fades and frame losses

Seem to be a few of you guys with some experience here so I'll ask on this thread as well as another.
JR Spektrum module in a PCM 10 AR 9000 plus 2 sattelites in a Comp Arf Classic 3 meter Extra, this one has carbon renforced formers.
The radio performs as advertised in my Extreme flight 88 Yak with numbers recorded on the flight logger well within the figures given in the manual.

However when installed in the extra these figures , fades and frame losses are significantly higher well outside those suggested as normal as high as 895 fades and 96 frame losses!! scary

The main rx has been "lifted" to the top of the canopy and rotated through every angle possible ,for the sattelites, I have tried every position on the plane even taping one to the exterior of the fuz well aft of wing and carbon former near the canopy rear.
All I can think of next is to mount the sats on external fairings a la full size aircraft

Obviously something to do with the airframe setup as the same kit was fine in me Yak. The motor is DA 150 and the ignition suppression is checked and good in fact the whole aircraft wiring was checked for any "interference" issues throughout the rev range for the 35 mhz radio, and again just prior to fitting the spektrum kit.

If I'd not used the logger I would be blissfully ignorant!!

Any way till this is resolved the Spekrum kit is grounded as far as the Extra is concerned
Help!!!!

Any idea how long a "hold" lasts with this radio as Mine seems to take 3 to 4 seconds when checking fail safe by turning off the tx. this is a seriously long time I'd rather see a glitch!!
