Only if they ordered their tires from china????

With all of the un-suspecting people showing up at Joe Nall, there's nothing that will keep them away!!

I'm sure they will be there.

I'm sure they will sell plenty of XPS there as well. There are those of you out there that won't buy it and there are those that will. Its personal choice, just like buying JR or Futaba.

I do hope if anyone (FG members) confronts the company you do it in a professional manner. If you can't then you shouldn't talk with them and should have an official rep like a lawyer do it for you.

I doubt very seriously that anyone will the confrontational... After all, if you look at the thread in the xps forum "Discussion - XPS at SEFF World record flight" Out of 64 radios, only 3 were xps Not a very high ratio of users...

I never said anything about being "confrontational"

One of the things Sun Tzu once said. . . "never confront the enemy face to face if you do not have to. victory does not always require a battle to be fought, but rather for the enemy to realize that he has lost."

Shoot, I was hoping to hear that Jon mounted JD like an Ultimate Fighter and took $6K out of his hide!

Well, Jon, FASST just came out .. XPS has been out a year now. . .and yes, Spektrum is cleaning up.

Secondly, picketing the booth will do no good. . only by looking at the long-term goal will you find a game plan for this one. so, what is the long-term goal. . information?? clarification??? Improvement of the XPS products??? shutting down jim Drew??? "Getting even"??

According to the blurb, JD is not only going to be doing the XPS thing, but handling Graupner and Lipos. And they will have 6 booths going. . hardly something to sneeze at. This seems to be a step away form promoting XPs alone, and instead diversifying with Graupner and Lipo batteries from some source in order to lend legitimacy to his XPS operation. In that case, JD is looking at a Bonanza for future longevity in the hobby, unlike his earlier exploits with paintball and other things. You may be able to get an angle on the XPS thing, and make it uncomfortable for him on only that facet of the organization, but peoples memories are short, and in a year, as he diversifies further, XPS will be only the first step that got him where he is later on, and he can drop it or modify it's niche in the market at that time.

So. . .the question stands. . what is the LONG term goal to be achieved in regards to Jim Drew and XPS? And how are YOU going to go about it?

I'm doing what I can... In the end, if everyone wants xps and is happy with their business practices and promises then, that's what they'll get...

At the very least, I believe that he needs to make past wrongs right & straighten out his product..
