There is a huge difference between critique and what we here at FG like to call Bashing. What Easytiger is doing is not the FG way (IMHO). Its okay to discuss the situation civil though. As for Spektrum/Fasst/XPS hurting each other........they typically won't. First the power of each is very low, they don't transmit on the freq 100% of the time. Its also been proven that numerous 2.4 radios of all brands can all fly at the same time (wasn't it like 59 or something?). What the issue is outside 2.4 R/C radio interference that is the issue.

Now, I WAS pretty relaxed, just laughing about XPS, but I took your advice, had a nap, breathed into a paper bag, had a few beers, and did some yoga, and THAT got me all riled up. Shame on me for taking advice I read on the internet! I bought myself a dog, named it Jim Drew, and now I kick him every time I think about XPS. Which actually is not very often at all, truth be told. XPS will sort itself out, I'd say, by falling out of the marketplace all on its own, so I am not that worried. Have a heart to heart with Jim Drew? I'd rather stick needles in my eyes, as Jack Nicholson once said. I deal with some really pro bs'ers in my line of work, JD is a piker, in the grand scheme of malarkey slinging. Really, though, I'm not upset one bit, sorry if I came across that way, but at this point, it's like talking to Nigel Tufnel, the lead guitarist from Spinal Tap: "But THESE amps go to ELEVEN!" "But THIS has SPERICAL RADIATION TECHNOLOGY!" See? A smiley. Don't worry about me. I am not aggrivated by XPS, I don't lose sleep over it, I don't think about it a lot, and I type very fast, without editing, so I'm not spending a lot of time on it, either. To me, it's over already. He's already onto the next scam, and XPS will fade away, like all of Jim's other "products" did.

So, you can't really be too harsh on him. He reaps what he sows, and he's still doing it, still ripping people off, still causing crashes.

Why only on the XPS thread? To be honest with you, I don't fly giant scale aerobats, I really don't have anything to contribute to that, and that's the basic subject of this site. But, hey, you are done with me for the night, this computer has run out of ink, and Office Depot is closed until the morning, so I cannot post any more for now. G'night!

There's a time to rant .. and a time to say "Yup. .I agree". Ranting too often makes people go away, or at leastnot listen. On a bit more of a Cerebral note. . FG is not here merely as a "Rant" forum. . we try to take things to a higher level of emotional content. . far beyond the "I HATE YOU I HATE YOU I HATE YOU .. ..NYAH NYAH NYAH . . . " Level. Thre are ways to denigrate, insult, and take to task Jim Drew without the histrionics and emotional diatribes. You can only say Jim Drew __________________________ So many times before people just yawn and arrow down past your posts. If you need an outlet for your anger over this .. I suggest leaving the poor dog alone, and go buy a large Grizzly Bear. Go up and yell at him occasionaly, and see what happens. It will remind you of the what happens when people get overly emotional and angry on a too often basis . . . . . There's always someone bigger, badder, hungrier, of must meaner out there. And they can sometimes eat you. Then re-open your book on Yoga, and pay attention this time. AAAAAHHHHOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I'm just curious. Are there any scientific evidence that says that the whole 2.4ghz band will be saturated if one channel is saturated. JD seems to be clear about this, stating that "then the entire band WILL be saturated". I have searched everywhere for an answer to this, but I only comes up with JD's claim that this is the case. If he's right, then there should be no reason to invoke any channel changes, or having the FUTABA way of transmitting over the whole band, one channel at the time. To me, as not having any knowledge about the technical side of 2.4ghz radios, it seems impossible to say that the entire band will be saturated 100% of the times a single channel might be saturated. It seems to me that if you can broadcast one power-level on a single channel, you should be able to do it with more power as well, or? Or, if some device "bleads" over to the 2.4ghz band, would be be impossible to do so over, say, half of the band, effectivly saturating that half of the band, but leaving the other half usable? It seems like there are some people here on FG that has the inner workings of this worked out, so mabye someone of you could share your knowledge on this?

![]() You know, I hate to say it, but I stopped reading Xjets posts. For the reasons you say. He may be 100% correct, but I know I have heard it enough from him, and, like you say, it really starts to become counterproductive. Again...even if everything he says IS right, there is such a thing as saying it too much. So, I got a bear. I took him into my Happy Place, and we did some yoga together for a while. Then he started getting on my nerves, you know? Just growling all the time, and talking about his old days at the University Of Oregon, Klamath Falls, and I got angry...let me say this only...you need to boil bearmeat for about an hour if you even want to THINK about eating it. Ahoooommmm....ahoommmm....ahoommmmm...that's not yoga right now...that's just indigestion. PS these posts go to eleven.
