Default Futaba Spektrum conversion???

Did a little search on this and didn't find much. Got several Futaba 8U's and a 9Z. All have been flawless on 72. Lots of guys at our field are using Spektrum module converted JR systems at our field. I decided to convert one of my Futaba transmitter's, the 9Z over to 2.4 with the Spektrum 8 channel/9000 system. Is this conversion working well for those that have done this to there Futaba systems..I liked the idea that the module will work with all module futaba based systems. Would perfer experienced opinions on this conversion. Thanks Walt

I've seen it done, and those who've done it haven't had any issues, as far as I know.

I wanted a native 2.4 system and switched to a 9303. It is so much faster and responsive than my 9C, I'm impressed.
The best place to buy spektrum anything is www.donalds-hobby.com

Hope this helps,

I Have been away on vacation to Florida. Back home to cool damp Michigan now. Is the Futaba 2.4 system about the same as the Spread Sprectrum system? Thanks Capt,n

Which Spektrum modules are you talking about?

I'm really thinking about converting my 9C to 2.4, but I'm still analyzing the options to make the decision whether I'll go with a FASST module or a Spektrum one...

this answer your question in my confidence? spektrum module. AR9100 receiver. always less than 100 antenna fades, no frame losses, no holds ever
\
put a piece of electrical tape over the module just for safety
