Default New spectrum re-boot technology

The new spectrum rx's have the new re-boot time of like .5 seconds vs the old 2-3 seconds. Does anyone know how to confirm if your rx has the new reboot technology? And, does the 6200 have it also? THANKS 871

Turn your receiver off. Leave your tx on. With the rx off, fully deflect a control surface or 2. While holding the stick fully deflected, turn the rx back on. Note how long it takes for your surfaces to go to the commanded position. If it's almost instantaneous, you have the quick reconnect. Also, you rx should be flashing to indicate a power interuption to the rx. Note that some of the first receivers to have the quick connect feature didn't also have the flashing lights. If your rx's don't have these features, you can send them to Horizon for updating.

while the radio and plane is on shut off the plane for a second. turn it back on. if the reciever and satelite reciever is flashing its new software. this indicates a power failure.

THIS ABOVE is exactly the correct description. the quick connect should in all cases be complete in .5 sec if its installed.

Cool, mine in question is quick (1 sec) but the light just flashes once, the locks in. No constant flashing light though, maybe it is one of the first ones. Thanks! 871
