I'm 80% sure that it will be a direct fit but I would like the measurements from an actual wing to confirm it. I have the paint ball fuselage on order. The Tower Hobbies website currently shows an end of January delivery date. That will be my decision point whether I got with the new or the old fuse.

If the wingtube fits, you can easily make holes with a 1/8th plywood reinforcement on the side of the fuse... If I can fit a pair of FUntana 100X wings on a GOldberg Yak 68" you can fit a pair of those wings on the cap. The only issue would be the gap between the fuse and the wing root.... THis must be a TIght fit or you will bend the wingtube and loose a wing IF you FLy to the max of the plane... This can easily be done with some wood glued to the wing root, to take up ANY slack... I know what you mean though, You want measuments so that you can put it together with minnum hastle... You want to fit a pair of the gen 2 wings to a gen 1 fuse right?? |

Not quite... I want to fit gen 1 wings to gen 2 fuselage. Good point about the fit of the wing to the fuselage BTW. I've converted the Cap to a tug for aero-towing. I crashed on what was supposed to be the last tug of the day (figures!) back in September and demolished the fuse. One wing needs a minor repair at the tip. It makes an excellent tug (easy to fly, stable and lots of power with a DL100). I am tempted to purchase the Gen 2 fuselage and just go with it... I don't need to decide right now but closer to the end of January will be my decision point.
