Where is the closest motels to the flying field?

Alot of people stay in Greenville at Pelham road and I85. Some people stay in Clinton and some will stay in Spartanburg. There is not a motel less that a 20 min drive from the field.

Thanks , I've made my reservation at the Clinton Hotel arriviving on the 15th and I leave on the 19th.

Dose any one know when Mat flys the airshow???

The last I heard it would be around 5:00 in the afternoon. I do not know which days he is flying thou, sorry. In the past it has been on Thursday and Friday. Have a safe trip.

Hey everyone,
As I was looking through this thread, I noticed a few questions. About AMA and IMAA cards; you did not need to send copies with pre registrations as we are suppossed to visually check these at check in. (Insurance you know). According to the last schedule of events that I saw, Matt will be flying each afternoon at 5:00 PM.
Once again, let me urge you to download and bring already signed waivers for each person in your vehicle. This will save you lots of time at the gate wehen you are itching to get in.
Even if you did not pre register, it will save time at registration if you go ahead and fill out the registration form. It is a lot easier for us to type from a filled out form than to try to hear you over the sound of engines and Bob "Mouth of the South" over the speakers.
By the way, I have just got a lot more pictures of the new tower posted on the web site. It is up!

Just saw this thread...
I was hoping to fly with the rest of the noon time show guys at NOON.. but I have been told that they want to use the 10 minutes I need for RC only airshow. So, you'll have to wait till 5pm each night to see me fly, thanks to the support of Great Planes. I will perform Wend, Thurs,Fri.
Hope folks stcik around for the show, but won;t blame them if they want head out for a shower and dinner. Kind of a long day......
