Here are a few shots of this bird. Please do not hang me if I misquote, but I remeber a blurb about it being 21 pounds wet. If anyone remembers more accurately please chime in. I have some of this bird in the air, but the video is the only thing that will do this thing justice. I may load up a few a little later.

Glad you and 3.0 made it home safe Jim. Nice flying with you yesterday. BTW I feel stupid. The right side tire only had 18 lbs in it. DOH!!!!!! scratch one tire.

OK. Here is a video of the Ralf Losemann's demo flight on Saturday. Biff's comentary is priceless. A small example of what an exemplary event this is. Note that this is in HD format which means you will need QuickTime 7 (free from Apple) or QuickTime Alternate (free from many sites - google "QuickTime Alternate") in order to view. The vid is the first one in the QuickTake section of my home page:

Great video Fred but you left out the six foot takeoff to a snap roll. That was not his best hover either. He was more stable for a longer time on previous days.

True enough...and I got it all...but I love the ending on this demo...and I had to leave you something to look forward to on the DVD. ;-)

Thanks 50%!!! that was a cool demo, but fridays demo ROCKED!! I have to get Fridays vid loaded, and I was right on the flightline!!

It's doing something but as some have already said, it's not truely torque rolling. The simple admission by the pilot that it can go rotate in either direction show's that it's not truely "torguing".

None-the-less, that was a great flight demonstration. I hope I get to see it in person some day.
