This is one of the rules of the event. It was enforced last year. Everyone passing the gate must show an AMA card or be with someone that has one. If someone is meeting you at the event that isn't an AMA member be prepared to meet them at the gate to get them in.

As to the reason, you need to ask one of the event organizers.

1: you come with me and the gang to the Platinum Plus.
2: You don't feed anyone your salami because it caused a messy situation
in my case that I do not wish for anyone.

Hey Jay & Elie!!
Looking forward to another great trip to the Joe Nall. Jay , sorry I never found you last time , but I will find you this time to exchange the fruits of our Labour!!
Make sure you both come and "Cross The Border" and watch for the trip wires!!You'll see what I mean when you see the big Maple leaf!!
Chaz set us up with a great camp site, right by the lake, it was wonderful.
To all ,that have not attended, staying on the grounds is so much fun, and the new freinds you will meet is a great experience you'll never forget!!

The reason we require AMA is that this event is for Modlers. We do not have the resorces to allow the general public in. If you have been to the Joe Nall you understand that there is not enough room to allow the general public in. We pride ourselfs in keeping this event just about the modlers and all the friends you make. IT IS THE SOCIAL EVENT OF THE YEAR. Hope to see every one there in "07. If you want to mark the Joe Nall forever, just remember it is the week after Mothers Day every year.

Well, we might be OK, one of the guys who is going is a fairly close friend of Chris Hinson (EFRC) as he imports his kits, maybe he'll let us in under his AMA membership. Otherwise our plan has been shat on.

$5.00 per day

WE DO HONOR MEMBERSHIPS IN ANY NATIONAL MODEL ORGANIZATION FROM OTHER COUNTRIES SUCH AS MAAC from Canada. We look forward to having more international visitors.
