Past couple of days, i've been getting the wings ready for glassing. I got the flaps and ailerons cut free, the leading and trailing edges of everything capped w/ balsa, then got them hinged, then got the gap seals in place and adjusted so everything works as it should. then got the servo pocket liners, the servo pocket covers, servo mounts, etc in the wings completed. then today i got the bottom of the wings and the flaps/ailerons fiberglass'd w/ some 2oz glass cloth and some 50/50 finishing resin and denatured alcohol mix.

Wings are done and fiberglassed, ready for paint. Fuselage will be ready for paint as soon as i get my other bypass and get the inlet ducting modified and installed...

I got my other turbine and fuel cells today.. The fuel cells are made out of kevlar and hold 200oz of jet fuel. just 2 more header tanks to buy, then the fuel line etc and i'll have most everything for the fuel system.

It really fascinates me how your jet guys can manage to squeeze all the gear into such small airframes...Your doing a great job on a helluva project.

no insulation necessary for the cells.. they'll get velcro strapped to the fuselage w/ foam rubber in the between the two to keep them pressed together tightly against the fuse sides. Got the inlet ducts glued in last night and the inlet transitions rounded today. Goin to start designing the mounting rail system for the turbines tonight.

Since its cold and overcast outside today and i can't go fly the 600N, i figured i'd get the engine mount rails designed and mounted. So here's what came about after a few hours of designing, test fitting, making, and installing of those:
