all servos expect the throttle in now, the throt servo is gonna be tricky to place since the carb is on the center line. but ill figure something out, i had to put it together haha enjoy the pics mike

I too have this same plane and engine set up. I'm tempted to take a break from another project and throw this ARF together. If you have a picture of the plane with the cowling, I would be interested in seeing it! Michael |

I bought mine at the Toledo Show, two years ago! I'm into S.T.O.L aircraft. I was just looking at the wing, as I like to mount my servos sideways, so their hidden in the wing. I'm not sure, I'm going to mess with the servos. I would save a lot of time, if I would just build my planes and follow the instructions, but I'm always modifying something to make it more scale looking. The problem is, the more scale looking the more time it takes. So, I should just slap this thing together and be done with it!

I have flown this plane.......very very nice. One of the nicest flying scale planes on this size class. Im into RC Bushflying (STOL, landing in crazy places) and this baby lands real slow and is a great little bush plane. This one has a Saito 82 (plenty of power) and has dubro 6" inflatable tires. My buddy needs to straiten out his landing gear, but the pic gives you a good idea how cool it looks.

Pitviper51, Sorry this took so long to get this on here, but my buddy (the owner and who is 80'ish) ground looped this plane during take off and did a violent cart wheel destroying the entire front end from the windshield fwd. He took the engine off the mount and handed me the plane, servos and all. Well....another friend of mine offered to fix the front end for me. 2 days later he shows up and it's all fixed up. All I had to do was recover the front end and mount my Saito 90 twin. I did offer to give the plane back to the original owner, but he wants something not so loopy on the ground. Any how, this plane it is a blast to fly and I will get off my butt tomorrow and cut out the cowl for this engine. Here is the video from last Sat

Thanks Mike, the tires are the Dubro 6" inflatables. I have a set of these on my 1/4 scale Supercub with nearly 200 flights and probably 400 touch n go's on gravel, dirt, weeds and rocky terrain. Im yet to wear these tires out. As far as the Axles they look like 1/8th by 3". R/C Bush Flying is a new twist to RC IMHO.....it's a blast to do and takes some skill to do it right in a scale manner. Here are some vids you might get a kick out of....
