I just recieved my Extreme Flight Yak 54 74" yeller black silver scheme aeroplane today

and I am just in aw with how AMAZING this thing is BUILT. for my 7 years in this hobby, this is got to be the nicest of all ARFs out there! it's like it is painted! the covering is SOOO NICE.. amazing! it's just... perfect..... the frame aswell is just as perfect...

once I assemble it I will get pics...

ohyeah, I guess the "MADE IN CHINA" on the box means it was made in the "NICE" part of China.

looks far better then hand made.

sorta. not really. I needed some thing to replace my Mayhem 3D that had a Saito 180 for power. so I had the Yak in mind and went to a swap meet, sold about 15 junker planes (including the Mayhem) and made enough to buy her.

one day some year in the future I will continue to rebuild my smaller Yak in the same scheme

Here's what i'v gotten finished so far on the B.E.A.U.tiful Yak.

Motor is mounted.
Servos are in.
Landing gear is on and ready to land.
hinged up and sealed. (I made sure I got ABSOLUTELY NO EPOXY ON THE HINGES)
Pushrods and pull pull are set and perfect.
tail wheel is on and perfect.

Alls left to do is...

Mount the gas tank and plumb it up to the motor.
Mount the throttle servo.
Cutt the cawling for the motor and mount it.
Attach the prop and spinner.
Mount the RX.
Figure out the CG then mount the battery.
Pre Flight Check.
And atlast, Maiden.

here's some pics of what I'v finished so far on the fuse.

If your wondering what kind of wheels those are.. they are the aluminum MPI wheels from TBM. I just couldn't stick some ugly plastic wheels on this plane

I believe airplanes are like cars and trucks. wheels can change the look alot. These MPI wheels are the exact same size as the wheels supplied in the kit but they are not as wide as the ones supplied. but you can't even tell, they look great!

Ohyeah, after finishing the cowl and putting it all together I finally realized that I didn't make a hole for the glow igniter, I ended up having to take it all back.... yeah you know what I mean. so, I filed a hole and it's finished... the cowl is..

just have to put the RX in and battery, tune her into the TX and preflight check.
