XFC 2008 Announcement

I wanted to go bad... but work comes first. But next year, the vacation schedule will include this weekend.

I was bummed all weekend , but glad the event went well for everyone and the XFC Crew.

Congrats to all the winners as well as to the other particapants.

On the XFC website: http://futabarc.com:80/xfc-rc/index.html they show next years XFC dates as June 18 - 20th 2008? My 2008 calander shows those dates landing on Wed-Thur- Fri. Can that be right? Did they mean July 2008? Am I screwing the dates up or what. Any know what the dates are for real?

June 18-20, 2008 is Fri-Sun. You are looking at 2007.

Well my 2008 calander on my computer must be messed up too cause, it shows the 18th, 19th and 20th on Wed thru Fri. also.

The 18th thru the 20th for 2007 is Mon. thru Wed. cause the XFC for 2007 was the 15th thru the 17th wasnt it ?

You are absolutely right. The XFC was 15th through the 17th this year. My calendar shows June 18-20, 2008 to be Wed, Thur, Friday as well. Good thing I get an extra week of vacation next year!!

We have it as "tentative" on the site! LOL We want to make sure everybody gets there in time for the pilots meeting. Correct/firm dates will be posted shortly on the XFC site. Stay tuned for new info as well on all the events.

IT'S OFFICIAL.. New XFC dates are confirmed. The Extreme Flight Championships will be held in Muncie Ind. again at the AMA National Flying site. The dates are June 11 -13, 2008. There is more info posted on the XFC site. http://www.futabarc.com/xfc-rc/index.html

Last chance qualifiers!!! If you're interested in competing at the XFC, and have not sent your submission video in, there is still a qualifying day (Thurs) prior to the start of the XFC. We will be accepting 15 pre-invited pilots on both the airplane and heli side. There will be 3 qualifier spots up for grabs on Thurs, making the field of 18. If you're interested in competing at XFC2008, go to the website for more info on video submissions and addresses in which to send.

We look forward to seeing everybody at XFC 2008!!

Sorry guys, I am a little confused! Aside from the guys who are invited, there are only three spots for the people who send their videos in? So out of all the videos and applicants who are not on the invitation list, only three will be selected. Is that the case?
