| Resident TrainWreck  |  FINALLY made it to St. Louis!! DWF, GGGrrr! Well, after 12 hours, I've finally made it to St. Louis. My journey began today with a flight out of John Wayne (SNA) through DFW. LOLLercoaster! Man WTF was I thinking. On the way to DFW, we got to detour in Adaline TX and sit on the tarmack for 4 hours. By some strange fate, believe it or not, the pilot ordered pizza and had it delivered to our American Airlines MD80. DFW was closed from bad weather. Finally made it to DFW 8 hours later, then took another slow leg up here to STL. BUT! I'm finally here, and STOKED to be a part of this weekend's Huckfest! See you guys soon!! MD

Max, I'm sitting at the airport in Detroit right now after my 6:00 AM flight here was delayed over a hour for "crew rest" (that's what they told us - but I bet they overslept!) and I missed my connection back to Raleigh. And my flight out on Wednesday had us sitting on the taxiway for two hours (again here in Detroit) as we waited out a thunderstorm. Isn't air travel glamorous? I need an airplane.......... We look forward to the St. Louis scoop. I wish I was there! |
