I am coming down there to what all the Rumpus is about. I am a .40-.60 size pilot...currently working on my first gasser (1/4 SIG Sukhoi). Been lurking on this site for awhile....and I think I have found a like minded group of people. You guys are doing... what I want to do. So I will be picking your brains and looking at your set up's etc. I promise NOT to drool on your planes.

I am sorry I am unable to make this event. Senior night for football is Friday and Saturday I have to coach my soccer team. Wish I could make it down. Plus Sat and Sun I have to referee soccer.

If anybody wants to play around with how much thrust there plane is putting out, I will have this contrapment there. Not a exact science but works pretty good
Probably will work up to a 30% without ripping the tail off

leave that contraption at home and bring the one in your avatar with you... not the plane!

Seriously, safe travels, look forward to seeing a lot of flyers this weekend!

Its been raining pretty well the past few days, we needed that BAD!! It may be a bit of a mosh pit in some of the parking areas, but there's a nice asphault runway (800 ft) and a well manicured grass strip beside that one... should be some good flying.

If you start dreaming about the plane instead of that other thing... you've REALLY got problems!
