My 2m Katana from ESM in a series of low inverted harrier over the field we fly at. It actually got so low as the rudder scraped the ground, lot of fun and the Katana is super stable in inverted Harrier. Powered by a 3W 55 and a Spektrum DX7 radio system. Enjoy .

Another "KICK ma A$$" canister lesson??? My Ba-ha-zues man- when will this end? So now I'm advised by the local hobby shop K.I.A. that if you hard mount the mojo, then the canister too should be hard mounted, otherwise any / all vibration is relieved in the header's flex joints. Another flying day in to "swriley", another $50.00 plus shipping (instead of next plane budget) and the negative impact this set up has on me and my fellow fliers - watching all these hard lessons manifest into "hard mounted" reality. I'm still not certain if I buy this advice 100% yet, but, it does VERY sound logical. I just wish TBM would have provided this significant nugget of wisdom when they selected the combo for me. (Sar Chasem - even to the spelling of this word) I will take this issue for discussion to the appropriate forum. Sorry, but I find it appropriate to submit such a crappy picture to best depict the crappy "don't do it this way" situation!!!!  |
