It was suggested that I submit this photo for the May contest. I took this shot at 1:30 in the morning at the Joe Nall Fly-In. It is a time exposure photograph taken from a tripod with my Canon 5D digital SLR. I "painted" the banner with a flashlight during the exposure to illuminate the otherwise darkened sign. Hope you like it.

Here is another photo that I took while at this years Joe Nall. It is a photograph of an airplane which was equipped with lights for night flying and the gentleman who owns it was more than happy to let me take some shots of it. Shot with a Canon 5D digital SLR. Exposure was about 20 seconds. ISO was set low to reduce noise.
