Here are the winners of the July contest. This month the guest judge is James Lee Martin, my father. He is a Certified Professional Photographer with over 50 years experience in portraiture, wedding, commercial, and sports photography. The July 2007 winner is - mark fadley The way that the wings of the airplane divide the frame and the pilot is shown out of focus makes this a great photo.  2nd place - selleri Again the diagonal division of the photo by the background Make this a striking photo.  3rd place - Troy P The pilot silhouette of the pilot contrasted by the lit airplane make for an unusual photo.  Honorable mentions. Even though mark was the first place winner there were two more of his photos that deserve honorable mention.   Honorable Mention for this photo by rodman The point of perspective in this shot almost gives it an abstract feel.  Finally Honorable mention for this photo by DStJohn I like the way that the helicopter is framed by the pilot and caller.
