Thats a better looking landing than my brother made in his Quicksilver last week. He had a prop shatter on climb out. About 25 feet the ground. One blade of the prop went through the wing. He was able to make a safe landing but bent the frame on landing. He walked away with out any injuries but It shook him up a bit.

I made it to Sun-N-Fun as well, got some good seats and was able to personally meet the entire Thunderbirds crew! AWESOME people!

Are the flight shots of the real one or the model????

Honestly, I don't think I would actually be able to tell between the pictures, if you said one of the in flight ones were real, and the other was the model!!!

Dave-That shot and these flying shots were of the full scale versions of the Thunderbirds.

We didn't get to fly with them at the event, but they're really wanting to watch it go. Those flight shots are of the model. I've got 6 flights on it so far and plan to do some more practicing down at Top Gun tomorrow till Friday afternoon, then competition rounds for Team Scale start Saturday-Sunday.

Thanks for the compliment. I've got some new photo equipment to try out at this years Joe Nall and can't wait. I should come back with some pretty special photos which I'll be more than happy to post on FG.
