hummers are fun to shoot, find a window to get the feeder close to, then the fun really gets going!

these pictures are taken about 30ft away from the feeders, when I was a young teen living in McCamey, I had a tree that I would climb, had a humming bird come and talk to me every time I would be in the tree, it would stay with me for about 20 to 30 minutes at a time, just 1 to 2 feet away from my face , thought life then could not get any better.

have you seen the movie' the golden compass' yet.. hahah they talk back! some how they just know when its safe
