 |  Pictures: EMAC San Diego August 22nd
I took a bunch of candid snap shots of our EMAC contest today. We have a great time and the format is good for beginners to experts alike. This is our second to the last contest for the year long series. The conditions today were a bit challenging. The day started off drizzly and cloudy with a strong South wind... which basically meant a 90* cross-wind to the runway. The clouds went away but the cross-wind stayed. It was literally blowing foamies off into the distance. Conditions like this are great practice and make you work for every maneuver. Thanks again to our organizers, the SEFSD club, and the great brownies served!  |
