John, You will have your rematch, you vs the judge. Dean is a very very good judge, he knows the book and he is fair.

Good to hear that Dean will be in the chair. He calls them like he sees them and he knows the rule book. Does anyone know if the rest of the judging duties will be by pilots or non-flying judges?

Hello
Invitational and Freestyle Classes will be announced next week.
A good group of designated judges have been recruited. There will also be some pilot judging. Freestyle will again have 10 fresh judges for each round.

Wayne - I'd like to think that me calling for you that one round in Roxanna contributed to you getting into the big leagues. Congrats on making it in!

We have another addition to the 2007 Tucson Aerobatic Shootout pilot field in Sportsman.

Tony Thomasian of Tigard, Oregon

Tony has been added to the field. He had a bit of a brain fade when he forgot to fill out his pilot worksheet in his haste to get his entry in for the Shootout quickly. Hey... It could have happened to any of us, so cut him a bit of slack. :-)

After some thought by contest management and the fact that Tony would have been in the field based on his ranking points originally, except for his mistake, they have decided to add Tony to the field.

I expect he will be one happy camper when he checks his e-mail this evening.

Cheers,

Anna Wood
