I volunteer for Judging if a possition is still avalilable. Steve can testify that I am a reliable judge, I have eaten his lunch on many an occasion.

It's true, it seems I have adopted Spike as a son. He looks thin, but boy can that guy eat! Whenever I break out a sandwich at the field, he gives me a look that reminds me of a lost puppy. He then gets half my lunch.

But I'm not giving him one of my Vegas BLTs, no way, no how, forget about it. I am a judge and this is a serious competition and I have responsibilities.

OK Mike, just one little bite, but no more.
Yes, you can have a sip of my beer.
No, I'm not going to eat that pickle.
Yes, I brought some extra gas.
I'd be happy to call the next round for you.
You hold the plane, I'll flip the prop....

I spoke with Max today by phone and the (T)BLT cookoff is on... We agreed the judges will be as follows:

Rolling Thunder

Seriously, if I could get confirmation that each of you will be willing to judge it would be most appreciated.

I will be there. I'm sharpening my teeth as I type, and I will do a 24 hour beer fast prior to the tasting to clear my highly developed palate. Let the cooking begin!

Looks like a lot of poundage on the judges panel.....

I think there will actually be a "presentation" box on the score sheet. I know Quist and I will appreciate the girl, not sure about Tom, he is a self described old timer, and I've heard his wife has a mean right hook!
