| It will fly!!! |
The flying ended for the day and the pilots and their callers needed to unwind. I was sitting back with the camera to catch some of the action. There were some sitting around discussing the flights of the day and the unknowns for tomorrow. Stick planes were carving the box infront of each pilot. Some of the folks gathered around the golf clubs. It started with a friendly round of chipping practice. About 10 yards to a trash barrel leaned against a tree. Well it didn't take long before Bogan made a shot that shut down the competition. His first shot was a high arching bank shot off the tree in to the barrel. No one wanted to try to follow that shot so the crew walked out to the edge of the runway and started driving for distance out in the desert evening. There were some great shots, even one "Happy Gilamore" shot that went sailing out over the desert sands. Here are some shots of the action.
