Curtis great photo's!
I flew out to Tucson to volunteer as a line boss so I only had the pleasure to watch the best pilots in the world!
The ones I met are some of the nicest people in the sport and it was truly my pleasure to be there and to see them fly.
You can't really appreciate the scope of what a great time it is,it must be experienced!
I'll be there again next year, dates are posted.I hope to see you all again next year.
John

Wayne/exeter, do fill us in!! I watched one of Wayes sequences, nothing bad. You didn't have a brain fart and do a roll or snap on takeoff?

It really wasn't that bad ....

his finger slipped of the stick when he entered a snap.....

Full rudder.. and nothing else....
very cool "skid" in to home plate!

We had a figure 9 and the exit line had two negative snaps from inverted.
I had gotten dinged a couple times through the week on snaps so I was concentrating on showing a lot of pitch going in. As I pushed, my right finger slipped off the stick and my left finger had all the rudder in. It pitched and slid and was F**ckin UGLY.
Really embarrassing.

I learned a lot flying there this year. Hopefully I will get invited back and can improve on some stuff in 08
