| Hero to the masses ![]() | William, the twin cylinder DA-100 will be better for smoke than the DA-85. The 36% Edge with a DA-85 and stock muffler is very light but the DA-100 is smoother and has more power. Either engine will fly the plane very well.

| That, Just, Happened!! ![]() | if you have no noise limitations, and want power and smoothness, and not sacrifice anything, DA100 on stock mufflers FTW!

Still not sure on the 36% or the 43% both have great reviews and by the sounds of the GREAT customer support the planes and PAU cant be beat. Have a older Aero tech 540 35%er and its due to be upgraded. These planes still have the all build up wings/stabs ect? Never was a big fan of foam, build up always seems lighter and stronger if done right. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

I've got 15 gallons through mine now, and I've only had a few minor bugs to repair. ![]()

| Gettin' Lower! ![]() | Dan, I'm running a single 2300 mAh A123 battery to power everything, radio & ignition, so I don't even have the ignition battery up front. Throttle servo is in stock postion, no choke servo. The battery is mounted back one more former than yours. I'm using a Mejzlik 27x10 prop and TT spinner with the lightened backplate. A Menz prop will only save me an ounce or so, and I prefer the Mej. over the Menz anyways. I looked into the CF spinners, and really didn't want the hassel of all the screws around the cone, plus having to have all your props drilled dead on the same in order for the nose cone to fit. I bet your cans shift some weight off the nose and back closer to the CG.
