The # should be on the root rib of the wing and on the wood ring of cowl that bolts to the fusalodge.

I have #17. I have not put it together yet, but when I got it I gave it a once over and the only things I found was some glue from the hinges on the elevator had got onto the surface of the stabs and the canopy got some very minor damage (it got bent in one corner enough that the paint came off in that area). Herve exchanged them right away for me. The rest of the plane looked very good and should be going together in Arpil some time. Again the 2 things I mentioned were very minor and only cosmetic. Really looking forward to flying this one and the PAU Ultimate I got as well. All the dealing with PAU (including Galvin Air Model who is the CND dist) have been excellent.

When I put the Slimline on mine I needed to trim with a dremel the bottom lip off from the firewall.

Very nice baffle job, it should really help keep the engine running cooler.

Thats some really nice baffle work. I wish there was some way to quantify how effective this is over the standard front baffling.

It just looks like it makes sense to have the airflow pass over as much of the cooling fins on the engine as possible. More area on the engine having cool air blow over should equal better and more even cooling.

Yea that's why I made the baffels to wrap around the back of the cylinders
to get some cooling air accros the back of the cylinders.
I want to get a temp probe to check the temp, any sugestions?

Joe,

The plane is not here with me at home but I've attached a picture of what I had to cut off.
I hope this helps.
