| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | For those interested, I am using a123 packs I built. The packs are 4600 mha 2s2p. The issue I was chasing was that wanted to be able to charge the entire pack at once with a single FMA 4s charger for a balance charge. This was a tricky on to figure out, I had to call Dick Hanson and it took some time but we figured it out. I'm going to send the pics to Dick so he can toss them up on a thread. Here are couple of picks.

| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | Well, I think she is ready to fly. I did swap out the 3/4 inch stand offs for 1/2 inch, it's a better fit with 1/2. I got the a123 packs build and installed with a Smart-Fly power expander and Fromeco switches. I cut an opening in the bottom of the cowl for venting, notice I left the lip on as it will create a low pressure behind it and draw the air out of the cowl. On the pull-pull I used a piece of nyrod as a guide where the cable enters the fuselage and a little CA to keep it in place. I used 1/16th balsa to close off the openings on the motor box and a little white ulrta-cote to close the openings from the engine compartment to the rest of the fueselage.

| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | If anyone has any questions about the plane or wants to see some specific pictures of it, don't hesitate to post. I'm going to try to make some room in the garage to get it on the scale and see what the RTF weight is. Since there is about 2 feet of snow here, I may be heading to St. George to get some flights on it.

| PAU Warehouse ![]() | Hi Dave, Looks like it's coming along just fine! I baffled mine the same way only using depron instead. After installing the depron I then fuel proofed as well and it does not weight anything. Here are some pictures of my hardware install. As you can see, I am not lacking any throw. I used a EQ 10 from Smart Fly. Nice little unit and I did not have add a bunch of match box's. Single receiver of course. I used 8611's for all flight surfaces except the rudder. I ganged two 8711's for that. Ken
