Hey Dave,

It looks like that thing is still in the house? Your wife has got to be ecstatic about now…lol. Be sure and thank her for the support. Mine would lose it in about three days. I've been banished to the garage for the rest of my days.

Ken

I had 2 planes in there for a while....she got kinda grumpy about that, so I had to take one out. I've got about 2 feet of snow here so I have not been real motivated to hang out in the garage. I keep telling her the plane needs to be warm or the vinyl graphics won't stick I only have a few graphics left to put on so my stay of execution is running out.

Well, I changed my mind on the rudder. I now have 3 8711's on the rudder. I think for general flying I would have been ok with 2 but hard hukkin may have been pushing it.

Still dealing with snow and wind here, so it looks like St. George or Vegas soon for a maiden flight. I know my way around the St. George field but no so much in Vegas. Any suggestions on which field would be best?

Vegas is supposed to be nice weather on Saturday.........its only 1hr from St George.

I'll be at work from now until 7pm Friday but your welcome to call me Friday night and set something up.

Both fields are Maiden friendly (St George and NLV field).

It does fly very much like a big foamy. I have only flown the prototype as of yet but that is exactly what it flew like. Very light and lofty when slow, very crisp and responsive. I'm gonna try to put it together in the house and weigh it.

Hey Dave,

38lbs is about right with your setup. We were pretty conservative with weights on both aircraft.

After checking the weather charts, it looks like Thursday or Friday I will head to Vegas. Nothing but continued snow here for the week.

I'll probably take Sweatpea's suggestion and hit the North Vegas field. Anyone interested in meeting up with me an showing me around?

38 lbs is an AWESOME weight for an ARF to come in at, especially one that is already this complete.
