You still have to run the 4-40 hex heads to fasten the I struts, just put the screw through the flyingwire attatchment then thread it into the I strut. We spend the extra time setting up a plane with an extra wing and flying wires because we love the ULTIMATE!! This plane with this scheme and a good smoke system turns a lot of heads at the field. It is always a rush to fly this plane and it never gets old.

that crew of ultimates looks sweet. ive always wanted to fly the hanger 9 46% one jsut for the expirience.

I have a DA-100 sitting around! I really have been thinking about getting one of these! But I am on the fence! Of course everyone knows that quique and wayne have decided to pursue other interest and are no longer producing the python. I guess what just really gets me is the flying wires. I am not to keen on them! But this is the only 100cc plane out there that I ha ve some interest in!

Help!

I see you guys think very highly of this plane so I may have to get one!

from what ive heard, once people find a good sequence of putting all the wires on, it doesnt take very long. in the end its all on looks. both planes fly equally well. you wouldnt be dissappointed.

The flying wires are really not a big deal. You would need to put the screw in with or without the wires so they really don't add any time at all. They stay on the fuse so you just wrap them up a bit to keep them out of the way.

DoubleA, it's a great flying plane and it's tough to beat the price for a real show-off type of airplane. Considering how much time I spend at the field when I go, I wouldn't think a few more minutes of setup for the biplane and flying wires would cut into flying time very much.

Thanks guys, Flyfalcon I know you made me a suggestion for a warbird. I am not sure what I want to do! All I know is I want to try either to get a biplane or a warbird! I think the best idea I would have is getting a 85cc single for the warbird! And using the 100 for a biplane! That way I would have 1 mono, 1 biplane, 1 warbird, and 1 sea plane!

The PAU Ultimate doesn't come with all the hardware for linkages and such.

It does have the other stuff though. The Edges and other "New" PAU planes come with everything you would want and its all 100% top of the line items.

Now that my PAU Su-26 is done, the ultimate goes on the table. First step is to order up some monokote!

Sam is correct. There is no hardware included for the control surfaces such as push rods, posts, and horns. Everything else is.

Yes the hardware is there but just throw it away and buy all new 4/40 bolts. I am still not sure what size allen wrench those things take.
