Have fun with it, Anthony! I got to fly JohnVH's Ulty and was immediately comfortable with it in both precision and 3D flying. Ultimates do some of the prettiest snap rolls out there, and I love doing lots of snap rolls! I also don't think I've seen a plane do a better inverted flat spin than the Ultimate as well, and that goes for all models of the Ultimate Biplane that I've seen.

Thanks Ryan. With all this feedback about the planes, I have been really excited to get them out.

Please post the photos of the can installation. I tore the covering off the rudder and the fuse today. I don't think I have enough covering to get very far on the recover though. Couple thoughts. 1. I'm looking to put a few more holes in the plane. Specifically near the wing tube in the Plywood sides. I see 2-3 spots that could have holes in it. Along with the motor box 2. I found a spot for the rudder pull/pull servos to go in the tail. I'm using a R/C Blimp titanium tailwheel for the plane and I plan to put holes in the rudder and stabs......can anyone confirm they are foam based or are they built up?

That is great news. I figured they were but wanted to make sure before I cut them up. I hope to make the Big Bird as well as the Warbird meet. The new scheme is under wraps until I get closer to cutting it out. I'm no artist and I can't even draw stick people straight so we shall see...... Plan is for this 3W106 on cans (mufflers if I can't find some cheap ones) I have the motor and mufflers already Mejlik 28x10 or a PAU 28x10 8411 or 8611a's on all surfaces. I have a few of each laying around but not enough Monokote covering Sullivan skywriter smoke pump EQ6 powerexpander R/C blimp titanium tailwheel Spektrum AR9000 I'm on leave all this week so I'm going to try to cover the tail and fuse (easy parts of the scheme) since the weather is crap for painting the P-47. I got the old Edge 540 back in action. Its been about 4yrs since the crash and I ran the motor and smoke system on Saturday and it all worked out. Remaiden this weekend maybe. Now I'm down to the Ulti and my Jet to finish up along with some foamies.

Can't wait to see the ulty! I had to recover the bottom of mine due to need not want. I have been thinking of recovering my new sukhoi in a monster energy theme since I have no da for it yet. My wife keeps saying bills are more important. And I thought a da was just another bill but she disagrees! cya at bellair ![]() jason |

I'll start up a new thread with my build. I should get most mods done this week and hopefully I've got enough white covering to get a good start.

I hate complicated schemes.........I got the rudder servo trays installed in the tail and started the covering on the rudder. I've hit a small snag for now trying to get the design just right. I might have to enlist the help of the wifey as she can draw. Also lightened up the rudder and the fuse a little. I have not looked at the manual but are we putting 3 degrees of thrust in the motor box?

That is what it calls for in the manual, 3 degrees of right thrust.
