Thanks. Yep more pieces coming back than going to the field with sucks. Just finished going though and removing the engine and electronics, all look like they were spared any damage. What sucks more is that looking back I know what I should have done, but the brain and the thumbs just did not have a good link. If only I gave a little down elevator when it was inverted while continueing the roll............if only....

I flew mine for the first time yesterday and the whole turtledeck flew off the plane and dented the right stab. I was not even going fast, I was just on my first flight getting a feel for it and trimming it. The mounting points are still bolted in the fuse. I think the factory did not glue it good and hopefully they will agree when I call them on monday. Has anyone ever heard of this happening ?

the whole hatch that the canopy is mounted on. the canopy got cracked too. The mounts to the hatch are still bolted in the fuse. I,v only seen this happen when the dowls in the front came out, but mine are still glued in.This realy scewed up my day.

The turtle deck is behind the canopy. Sounds like you lost your hatch, what the canopy glues/screws onto. I've never heard of this happening to this particular plane but I've seen it personally happen on other planes.
