Dang, I still dont get notifications, sorry guys. This prop pulls awesome, the engine revs good, snappy, not as loud as some others in my opinion, Ive used zinger, menz, 3w, and cant remember what other props so far. But I put these on all mine now. THeir 3D props are awesome too. Ken can give the specs on them.

Hey John- I have always loved Ultimates, I had one for my second plane when learning to fly years ago (seems like forever ) just curious about something. Would a DA-85 fly this plane and if so do you think it could be balanced? Thanks and I am seriously considering one.

Hey sweetpea, sorry it took me a while to get you these photos. The 3W106 fits great. It is a little heavier than other engines in its class but I just made a mounting deck for the batts. in the fuse behind the canopy. That balanced it out about 1/8 inch forward of the rear cg location.

Oh, the DA85 will fly the plane, I have no doubts of that. Depending on your elevation and setups vertical from hover will be the difference. but Im sure it will hover regardless.

I will know soon enough. I should be flying in a couple of weeks with the 85. My runway is about 10' below sea level when the tide is high so elevation is ideal. I am just trying to decide between a Vess 26B or 27A. I will post my results as soon as I get it in the air.

I haven't weighed it yet but when I do I will let you know. I will say what ever it weighs, the 3W106CS pulls it with authority and with tons of power to spare.
