Heres a few pics of mine in the process of getting "canned". I will have everything to finish up the cans tomorrow. Then a few hours in the oven. They weigh 6.7oz each and are way over built. The next set should weigh 5.5oz each. I'm projecting a total of 10oz weight gain and a small boost in performance. We'll see...... | ||||||||||||||||||

After looking at the data logger, (from last year) the average was 6319rpm on a 28-10 mejzlik. This was averaged from initial run ups and "hot" run ups (after a 10min flight) over 3 flights. This was with the "stock" BME mufflers with about 3/4" cut off the ends. The airplane was very LOUD in this config. Looking to get rid of the noise and get a "small" boost in performance. Bat |

Do you know what the Db was? The cans should quiet it down. They look very nice from the pictures. Keep us posted.

there isn't anyone who wouldn't like this airplane! after several flights on the one at our club, i think i can safely say that this is the best bang for the buck in the 100cc class!!!!! at $649 this is a no brainer!

I've got the baffles in the oven now. Final assembly will be tomorrow. This is going to be interesting. They hold very little heat. Next is to make up the headers. Has anyone tried silicone couplers on a 100cc exhaust set up? The highest continiously rated stuff I've found is 350* and I dont think its going to be high enough. I want to use them to help with the vibes from the motor. BF |
