Long time coming.......finished the paint today of cowl and wheel pants! It'll have to wait a couple of days for the paint to really set before I take some completed pics. Just need to install the fuel/smoke lines and the batteries and its ready to go

WEll finally the maiden happend. Damn this plane is smooth. it was cold, windy and the skies were dreary grey. Problems: 1. Cowl and wheel pants "matched" paint didn't match very well. Will have to redo the paint at a later date 2. Flying wires kept coming off. I have a fix for that though. 3. A couple of blind nuts broke loose on the cabanes and one of the hatches Pros: 1. 3W106 (mej 28x10) rocked this plane. It had tons of power and didn't vibrate too much at idle 2. Only 1 click of down trim needed, and even that I'm not sure about because of the wind. CG seemed spot on as well. I'm uploading video/pics now.....so stay tuned
