Default 30% Edge 540 III Trim scheme changes

Just out of curiosity, is it possible to get the 30% Edge III without the purple, pink, and yellow "rainbows" on the wings, fuse, and stab? IMHO it would GREATLY improve the looks of the plane. If not, are the "rainbows" put over the base white or are they directly on the wood? I'd rather not have to go the route of the ARC version II if possible.

Thanks,
Chad

The rainbows come right off. The only bare wood is on the leading edge of the wing. I had to put smalle pieces of white down before adding the checkers. Bad Brad Graphics did the checkers and has the sizes you need.

Dan,
That looks great with the checkers! Really improves the look of the plane IMHO. Thanks for the info.

That's my favorite so far. All I did on mine was put a matching blue where the rainbows were. It looked great.

Very nice work. I like the Castrol scheme. I just wish manufactures would make these scale planes look more like scale planes instead of toys. Like what PAU did with their Sukhoi. Although they are just toys when it comes down to it, but still!

I think the manufactures are limited due to licensing and trademarks that aren't allowed to be reproduced.
I know Red Bull is a real stickler when in comes to using their name.In fact I think there has been cases where their name was used on model aircraft and they made them remove it.Comp ARF had a Extra with a Red Bull scheme on it a few years back but even that was short lived.
I also have a Red Bull Edge in the Kirby Chambliss scheme.Could they make me remove the name?Probably.
The way I see it it's free advertising so what's the big deal? Right?
But unfortunately there are legalities.
