I have my new 3.2 J-TEC on 2.4 I have not switched either of my big ones yet.
Elie, what receiver(s) did you go with on the Big Edge?
If my 4 wheeler and trailer is there... you will have transportation for you and your plane to the other flight line (If there is anyone up there)

Ok guys,

I am planning things out and I am wondering if I should bring the Edge or the Extra 260 out there. For 3D, the Edge is all set up where the Extra 260 is all set up for IMAC. There will be pleanty of Edge's at JN, so I am thinking of brining the Extra. I do not have room to bring both.
The issue I have for the Extra is that it is my primary for the TAS. If anything were to happen, I wouldn't have a 50% for the TAS. I am leaving for the "sand box" on July 22 and will return 2 weeks before the contest. That is why I wouldn't have time to replace the Extra. Hmmm...., any thoughts?

Bill... I am bringing both of mine, you are more than welcome to fly them. I have the 260 setup for both and it is a hucking machine in the right hands.
I will not be 3-d ing these myself (lack of skills) but love to watch others like yourself huck them.
What day are you coming down?

Okay, just got my airline schedule for May. Heres the deal. I need someone out there to fly my trip on 13, 14, 15!! So, if you're not going to the Nall and you could cover my trip....
I have posted it to drop and hope someone is willingto pick it up. Fingers crossed.
I really want to come down and so some flying and hanging out!
Matt, Matt, Matt, It's about priorities... Maybe you could get a 7 day GSP layover.

When I bid for May, my ONLY request was to have that week off and allow them to do whatever with me the rest of the month. In the spirit of "Working Together" (they have these posters all over the system) they placed a 4 day starting Monday the 12th and another 4 day starting Sunday the 18th . Like you, I posted to drop, advertised it for pick up, even added a little in$entive but nothing yet. I feel my vision problem flaring up on the 12th, but I'm gonna pull chocks early Sat to fly my trip on the 18th (a low time domestic .)

If you do make it, we'll be down on the second flight line comeondown.

Stephen

Mike, I simply removed the 2 receivers, the RRS module and replaced all with one R921 receiver, I still have the powerbox in it, took about One hour to program as I am still learning the 9303 and I have taken the plane out of site with no issues at all.
You bring a good point, I doubt anyone would be at flight line 1, thanks for the offer though, see you shortly.

I think I would be more inclined to babysit the Extra until the TAS and fly the crap out of the Edge in the meantime!

Of course if you do take the Extra and the worst case scenario happens, I'll volunteer to put another Extra together for you in time for the TAS...

I have a busy week coming up so I spent the last couple of days getting everything prepared for next weekend. I have been working so much the past couple months that I am looking forward to getting away. Nothing like being surrounded by planes for an entire week!
