The issue I have for the Extra is that it is my primary for the TAS. If anything were to happen, I wouldn't have a 50% for the TAS. I am leaving for the "sand box" on July 22 and will return 2 weeks before the contest. That is why I wouldn't have time to replace the Extra. Hmmm...., any thoughts?

So, is the 2nd flight line the place to be? This is my first Nall, and I'm psyched. I couldn't find anyone to go with and I didn't want to miss it. I am traveling Han Solo. I look forward to meeting the people there from the Giants site. Met Snap at the WRAM show and saw him in Toledo too. He's hard to miss! I'm trying to figure out how to get my PA Addiction there for after hours fun. I'm flying in to GSP Monday morning, the 12th from Upstate NY. Rented an economy car. I will be tenting on the grounds for the 6 days. I did treat myself to a golf cart for the 6 days. I don't want to miss anything.

It remains to be seen how the second flight line goes over. This is its first year and I'm sure we will have some growing pains. A lot of effort has gone into trying to give you guys what you want. (More flying and a way to really show off your 3D abilities) If it isn't perfected this year, it will be. Howard Keller will be the boss of the new flight line so give him a brake and go with the flow and make your suggestions.

As for as being there alone. You will be with several thousand people that share your passion for flying, so making new friends want be an issue. If you need any thing or have any questions, I'll be around all week just ask at either gazebo for me. (Scott Capps)

Thanks Everyone!

Remember the best way to make friends at the Nall is to work the gate. See Lora at the gazebo to volunteer.

Thanks Scott for the help. I appreciate it. Also, if they need help at the gate, I'm available whenever it's needed.

Catman & Woody;
Thanks for the encouragement. Sounds like it's going to be easy hanging out with a couple thousand like minds.....

Thanks Ellie. I think I will. I'll have the golf cart too if anyone needs transportation. I look forward to the experience. Also, can't wait to see that trailer of yours.....

I'm starting to get very worried! No one has picked up my trip yet! Its a hi time trip and is hard formost guys to fit into an existing schedule.
A sick call is risky due to having airshows at either end of the Nall....AA has reall y come down on sick calls.... not that that would stop me...hey... if I'm 'sick' I'm sick...right? Just cuz I am not in the physical or mental state to fly a jetliner doenst indicate that I'm not in shape to fly a 1/3 scaleSuper Cub and Jungmeister...right?
Hell, at this piont I would be happy with either flight line...or just one flight line....or hell, just a field in the middle of a cornfield!
