A sick call is risky due to having airshows at either end of the Nall....AA has reall y come down on sick calls.... not that that would stop me...hey... if I'm 'sick' I'm sick...right? Just cuz I am not in the physical or mental state to fly a jetliner doenst indicate that I'm not in shape to fly a 1/3 scaleSuper Cub and Jungmeister...right?
Hell, at this piont I would be happy with either flight line...or just one flight line....or hell, just a field in the middle of a cornfield!
Why don't you just bring the 757 by and do a barrel roll for us???

well, it's an MD-80... and I would, but the wire bundles need to be tied another 1/10 of an inch closer for aerobatics otherwise the FAA will ground them again!

I thought I read somewhere you flew the Mad Dog errrr... Super 80, but didn't know if you changed equipment.

As far as spacing goes...Just offer to do the walk around and then call maintenance and tell them you're not comfortable with the spacing of the wire bundles

How much extra time off did you end up with courtesy of the FAA?

everyone is counting down the days and i wish i had more. working feverishly on my yak to get it ready. need to finish covering the fuse, install all servos and set them up, install all engine and fuel junk, tail wheel set up, re paint the cowl and canopy, make batteries from the dismantled dewalt 36v pack and install the receiver. it can be done but i have been working till midnight each night and i just came back from a two day business trip which killed some valuable time. have another trip to take tomorrow and will be back home by noon thursday. so, all of you that are relaxing just waiting to go, i envy you.

Kris, i will be maidening this thing with a new BME 110. if i need some tuning help, can you give me some assistance?

see you all there with a Yak that looks suspiciously like my last extra.

John Battershell.
